Taking care of yourself is the number one way to keep growing. Clean environments, time for exercise, few material belongings...these are all things that I have found make a world of difference. Baby steps if you are not there. Great big oak trees grow from tiny acorns.
Ur right it's the little things...April 26th 2015 was the day I started training for my first 5k (the dirty girl mud run) it also happened to b my 19th anniversary, the first celebrated without my husband as we were proceeding with divorce. I knew months before it was coming to an end even after the counseling and attempting to get back to a good place for both of us. I would sit and dwell on things that I coukd not change and needed to focus on somthing that I could.....myself. so the training began, I walked, I ran, I lifted weights, I dieted all while trying to keep my mind off the negative and keep my sights on the positive. In short when we need reminding that we r good and kind and worthy of happiness in spite of our surroundings and life events, take joy in the little things
